The 1sts got back to winning ways on Sunday with a 23 run win over Bacup at Lanehead largely thanks to Reeza Hendricks’ maiden league century.  Reeza hit ten fours and two sixes in making a run a ball 106. He put on 95 for the 3rd wicket with Russell Bradley who hit six fours and a six in his 47. Caleb Grant added an unbeaten league best 59 from 63 balls with six fours and a six in a 4th wicket stand of 110 with Reeza to help Nelson reach 247-4.

Hendricks then took 5-55 to restrict Bacup to 224-9 after good opening spells from Grant (1-24) and Jamie Randall (0-27).  Matt Heap (2-63) also picked up a couple of wickets in his 13 over spell.
